The Jaw Muzzle system comes in three sizes. The two larger Jaw Muzzle systems (JMSH7 and JMSH8) fit grinders with round bearing housings that have diameters from 1.80" to 3.25". The smaller Jaw Muzzle system (JMSH56) fits grinders with round bearing housings that have diameters from 1.40" to 2.25". Please note that 7" diamond cup wheels require the JMSH8 because of the deeper profile of the wheel.
The Jaw Muzzle System comes with an adapter hose that allows the operator to step up to the larger 1 1/2" hoses that come with the 2hp industrial vacuums.
The Jaw Muzzle is not adaptable to tools with bearing housings that are not round. For these model grinders, refer to the cross reference for the original Dust Muzzle.
How the Jaw Muzzle System Works
The Jaw Muzzle uses an adapter ring that is designed on the principal of the three-jaw chuck. It can be fitted to any round bearing housing. The three tabs are clamped to the bearing housing of the grinder by means of a hose clamp.
Applications
The Jaw Muzzle system works the same as the Original Dust Muzzle and is excellent for grinding fiberglass, concrete, wood, paints and epoxies It can be used with sandpaper, diamond cup wheels wet-or-dry polishing pads and soft pad discs. It does not fit die grinders.

The Jaw Muzzle System is unique because it uses a universal adapter ring that can be mounted onto any grinder. The three tabs of the adapter ring can be moved in and out and are mounted onto the bearing housing with a hose clamp. The adapter ring is made from fiberglass filled ABS plastic and is extremely strong. |

The universal Dust Muzzle that comes with the system is sized to fit the adapter ring and not the bearing housing. The adapter ring can be moved from one grinder to another and regardless of which grinder on which it is installed, it will always use the same universal Dust Muzzle. |

The Jaw Muzzle adapter ring is centered on the bearing housing and attached to the Bosch grinder by a hose clamp. For 4-5" grinders, use the Jaw Muzzle System JMSH56. For 6-8" grinders use the Jaw Muzzle system JMSH78. |
