A. Put the hose clamp (2) over the slotted end of the Chip Muzzle (1).

B. Slide the Chip Muzzle on to the needle scaler or chipping hammer (3) leaving the needles or chisel protruding the desired distance. Tighten the hose clamp until the Chip Muzzle is securely attached to the needle scaler.

C. Slide the 3/4" vacuum hose (4) over the vacuum pickup (5) on the Chip Muzzle.

D. Insert the small end of the 3/4" to 1 1/4 " hose adapter (6) into the open end of the 3/4" vacuum hose.

E. You can now put a tapered 1 1/4" vacuum hose fitting into the large end of the adapter.

F. Use the releasable cable tie (supplied) to attach the vacuum hose to the handle of the tool or the
air supply hose.
